Murphy’s law states anything that can happen, will happen at the worst possible time (or anything that can go wrong, will). And oh boy has it. Unfortunately this blog seems to be taking the brunt of it all. Let me explain:
Finals started on Thursday and they run through till next Tuesday. I wrote my English final on thursday, Biology yesterday, Religion on monday, and finally Advanced Functions (urgh math!) on Tuesday. While this is no surprise I have 25 other exams under my belt the timing couldn’t be worse!
Bucklers of Swash Group 1 has started raiding (yay! /) Or at least it’s trying to (boo! :/) Take a gander at my guild(raid) leaders blog and you’ll see what I mean. Unfortunately with exams come the giant term projects as well. I’ve written 4 essays, 6 labs, had to do an hour seminar presentation, and about a zillion math problems all in preparation for exams. So thats equivalent to 4+ hours of homework a night. I also can’t miss out on my TV shows so that’s around 3ish hours of TV a night (I know I’m horrible) and to top it off I have raiding 3 hours a night 3 times a week (no biggie really because I just sub-in Raiding for TV) I’ll give you a break down of my days.
- 6:00am Wake up
- 6:30am Get out of bed
- 7:00am get out and de-snow the car + heat it up
- 7:30am leave for school
- 7:40am be at school just to find someone took my parking spot >.<
- 2:00pm School ends
- 2:10-15pm get home (depends on the traffic in the school parking lot)
- 2:30pm actually relax from school (change out of uniform, eat something, etc)
- 3:30pm Prep dinner for my brother.
- 3:45pm Brother comes home and needs babysitting (not like eyes on him all the time but still)
- 5:30pm parents come home / homework starts
- 7:00pm Raid starts / TV
- 10:00pm Raid ends
- 11:00pm TV ends
- 11-12:00am More studying / Homework
- 12:30am Be fast asleep to get up in 5.5 hours to do it all again.
Now to top it off I have exams which require like a million hours of studying (these marks are shipped off to the Universities). Oh did I forget to mention that I’m also moving? Yup instead of studying I’m packing and driving over to the house to see if there’s anything I can help out with. House catches on fire 2 weeks before my final year of high school starts. Spend all of September living in a 1 room hotel room and leaving there at 7am and getting back there at 7pm so I can do my homework and go to bed was great. Oh and since my brothers bedtime was 9pm If i wasnt finished my homework I had to sit in the bathroom finishing it because it was the only place with light. October comes along and we move into a house which means I have to miss a few days of school so I can help my mom with shopping and stuff. 2 weeks before exams come the landlord takes the desk so I now have no place to work and finally halfway through exams I have to move! How fucking fantastic! /end rant.
Ok that felt great to get off my chest! anyway back to blogging. I still do intent to finish the Gearing an Elemental Shaman post pt2 and pt3. I really need to catch up on the fanfiction, Maegyn’s post is halfway written. On the bright side I get ALL of my books back, I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to get all my babies back! I was thinking about this a few days ago and I’m going to re-read all the Warcraft books and post reviews about them here so you guys can look forward to that. Or not. Whatever. I have been playing WoW more so this is what I’ve been up to in-game:
Maegyn is level 42 now! Her spec is currently frost but I don’t think that its going to stay that way once she reaches level
60, 70, 80, 85! She is wearing a few heirlooms: Shoulders, Robe, Staff, 1 trinket, and the guild heirloom cloak. Currently in the Eastern Plaguelands although she’s going to be moving back into Dwarven lands soon enough.
Grygor is level 40, and currently in Feralas helping out where ever he can. He will shortly be heading to Thousand Needles to use his aquaform to stop the twilight hammers that have currently taken up residence there. He is currently a moonkin (balance druid) with a restoration off-spec which I might make his main spec at a higher level.
Gwynvere has just helped Zen’kiki in the Western Plaguelands. She was teleported there right after she saved Booty Bay from the Bradshaw Crew. She’s wearing a couple of heirlooms as well, as you can see. The shoulders, chestguard, bow, and guild cloak. No trinket through 😦 Her spec is one of the survival kind, I mean how else is she supposed to ‘survive’ after living her whole life in Stormwind and then going off on an adventure?
That’s what I’m doing in-game, What about you? What adventures have you gone on recently?
