It’s a game we all play now and again. We sit and we wait for something in the future to come. Whether it’s a secret santa post (which I still haven’t received (I’m not upset just a heads up would have been nice)), or it’s a new expansion, or patch. We all wait for something.
I know you guys we’re waiting for me to post something so the Holiday greeting would disappear. I have a reason for making you play the waiting game – it’s because I’ve been playing the waiting game.
Last night I made my guild group play the waiting game in Heroic Halls of Origination because of the asshole who came into the house and took most of our furniture. No we don’t owe any money it’s just that the furniture wasn’t ours. After the house fire we were left without a place to live and without furniture. We moved into a fully furnished house that was for sale. 3 months later the house sold and the real estate agent (who’s a complete bitch by the way) told the buyers that we’ll be out on the 15th which I’m told is today. Our house isn’t going to be ready for at least another 2 weeks.
asshole lord’ is moving into his house this weekend which means he needs to take some of his fully furnished furnishings with him. Long story short: we’re out a desk, a table, couches, and my mom is sleeping on a mattress of the floor. Now what does this have to do with my heroic run? Well I was playing Chmelyk in Tol Barad last night when he came over and told me I needed to clean off the desk. Well ok there’s 15 minutes left of TB so I can quickly log off, clean the desk out, and re-log to make the end of our TB loss and get my 75 honor. I missed the end by 1 minute. I asked him if there’s anything else I need to clean out. “No, no its fine we’re leaving the dresser so it doesn’t have to be cleaned out.”
“Anyone wanna run a random heroic?” Guild member asks.
“Sure,” Anslym replies.
“We decided to take the dresser can you clean it out?” Land asshole lord asks during the first pull.
Good news is that we move on the 26th.
Bad news is that I start exams on the 27th.
So as you can see, the waiting game is a game we all play from time to time. Tell me, what are you waiting for?
