This is almost a week late but I’ll post my thoughts about the new patch anyway.
So my Tuesday started out like all my other weekdays. I woke up at 6am did some studying, I think I had a test that day . . . then again when is it that I don’t have a test? Did the whole shower / wash / get ready for school thing. Got in my car drove to school, probably failed that test (jk I have never failed a test before) and before I knew it I was back home again downloading the patch.
I started the patch at around 2-2:30 and it finished around 3:45. I clicked on my Wow icon and the new snazzy launcher popped up! Then it started installing the launcher patch thingy (iunno what that was) but I got an error that popped up. So I tried again and again and still nothing. I did what I always do in situations like that . . . googled it. Turns out I had to turn off my anti-virus and click the launcher again. Once that was all finished I checked mmo-champ to find out the maintenance has been extended.

Once the realms were up I logged into Anslym, I had no troubles there because I logged Anslym and Chmelyk out in Silithus. I quickly hearthed on Anslym to Dalaran but as the blue bar was loading I remembered Blizzard is taking out the portals from Dalaran and I wasn’t sure if that happened in 4.0.1 or in Cataclysm. Turns out it’s in Cataclysm. I took the port to Stormwind and hop on my mount to go see the Shaman trainer. As I jumped off the bridge to get to the trainer I realized Stormwind was in the midst of a drought.
I quickly logged on to Chmelyk and Trynda trying all the new abilities and talents out. I haven’t tried any Battle Grounds on Trynda yet because that server was kicking people out randomly. I ran a few randoms on Anslym, I love earthquake! Reforged some gear and brought up all my characters to par and then I logged on my bank alt. In the rush to get glyphs I made about +2000g in the first day of the patch. Another things that this patch brought me was a deadline, a deadline for my bucket list to be finished. So that’s what I’m focusing on currently. Thanks for reading.
