Design your Evil Boss

This weeks shared-topic from Blog Azeroth was suggested by Zahia from One More Alt, it reads as follows:

If you were a developper being asked to design a boss for Cataclysm, what boss would you create ? Would it be a vicious warrior, a crazy shaman, a cheating rogue, an overpowered mage, or a mix of all of these ? What would his more letal skill be ? What type of lair would he have ?

I would have to pick a crazy shaman-druid mix.  Now obviously the best encounters are the ones that make us stand before the boss, tilt our heads to the side and say “WTF?!?!?!, How in God’s name are we going to pull this off”  OR the kinds of boss fights that are PURE INSANITY!  I present to you my evil boss:

This is a boss that you have to damage with healing.  No not like VDW, you don’t heal them, you damage them with heals.  Obviously the ratio for dps to healing isn’t the same so the heals would have to hit harder then damaging abilities.  Now this might not be that out of the box for some of you but what if I told you the boss didn’t do ANY damage?  Yup, no damage what so ever.  Now you maybe thinking “WTF? Free Lootz?!?!?!” Nope because this boss is pure insanity.  Just because the boss doesn’t do any damage doesn’t mean he can’t kill you.  I need you to visualize the bosses room.  Let me help you with this horrible drawing done in paint:
 

His 5 abilities are:

Dirty Dusty Earthquake: 

The boss creates an earthquake that drops spikes on raid memebers, much like the tunnel in Pit of Saronite.

Whippy Wind gust:

The boss conjures up a gust of wind that blows memebers off the platform dropping them to their deaths on spikes.  Much like the Val’kyr duing Lich King although there’s no saving the members that get caught in this windstorm.

Fiery Flaming Vortex of Heat:

The boss makes a flame tornado that ensnares the raid member and drags them over to the edge and drops them off.  Like Val’kyr but you can’t kill the vortex to save them.

Hot air Balloon Bubble ride:

A raid member is put into a bubble that floats up to the top of the room where more stalag-whatevers are located.  The bubble will pop and drop the raid member to their death or the raid member will be impaled upon them.  Any attempt to Life grip or Deathgrip them back down will result in the gripped being sucked into the bubble as well, leading to 2 deaths instead of 1.

Botanical Bounce:

The boss casts a mushroom to grow under random raid members.  When fully grown it will bounce the raid member up to be impaled or out off the platform.

This boss fight is a movement oriented fight. 

Healers:

Your job is to kill the boss with heals!

Dps:

Avoid all the abilities this boss casts.  Kill the mushrooms so idiots don’t run into them.  Kill the fallen rocks to free other raid members (Boned anyone?). Kill the bubbles before they get to high.

Tank:

Position the boss to face away from the raid and to limit the number of abilities hitting the raid.
